I’ve invented many many many drinks over the years, many with dubious results… but this one is going down in the books: a drink I call The Toucan. How did I come up with that name? Well initially it was because the drink is colorful and tropical tasting. And then I later discovered it’s also because this drink gets you too canned–GET IT?!
How to make The Toucan:
- Chop up and blend watermelon with a lil squirt of lime. Pour the watermelon into ice trays and freeze
- Once frozen, take an entire tray (just one) of the frozen watermelon/lime and toss that in a blender
- Add a cup or two of vodka (or rum, or tequila–your call)
- Add a cup or so of limeade
- Add in some frozen tropical fruits (we used a bag of pre-cut frozen mango, pineapple, and guava–YUM)
- Blend that shit
- If it’s too thick, add more booze or limeade
- Enjoy responsibly
